Best news to start the weekend! 🎉
Under the @URSwedenProgram, Minister of Youth and Arts Jean Nepo Utumatwishima adds to #Rwanda's growing critical mass of PhD holders following his successful doctoral defense at Gothenburg University, #Sweden.
Originally a medical doctor, Dr Utumatwishima, PhD examined how household dynamics influence child #stunting and proposed holistic, multisectoral solutions that go beyond nutrition-based interventions.
We commend his resilience and hard work despite a demanding cabinet schedule, and extend our appreciation to the #Undernutrition Subprogram team and supervisors for their support throughout this journey.
This initiative aligns with Rwanda’s National Mental Health Policy and Education Sector Strategic Plan, contributing to a future where every learner thrives in a mentally healthy and supportive environment.
This week marks the fourth day of the Training of Trainers (ToT) under the Baho Neza Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program, organized by the Rwanda Psychological Society (RPS) in partnership with the Imbuto Foundation and the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC).
