I built a compiler that turns TypeScript into Super Nintendo code. The output runs within 4% of hand-written 65816 assembly, and 5x faster than C (cc65). Editor, debugger, Mode 7 and HDMA, all in your browser: https://t.co/z00F0IMXON

MUGEN's Master Ryu, running on a Super Nintendo. His own states, special moves, AI and voice lines, translated into SNES machine code.
CPU vs CPU demo recorded from the web build; the 2-player cartridge runs at 60 fps (measured in Mesen).

@Old_Man_Rukus@ray_castello Yes this is very similar to what we are trying right now, the biggest problem is the importanting time that is taking couple minutes, trying to optimize that before releasing the mugen snes editor to public
@ray_castello@Old_Man_Rukus Yes we are working on this, some bigger characters might not work due to SNES limitations, but something like Ryu should work as well. We also are not using any special chips!
