Congratulations to all of our Y11s who received their GCSEs today.
Your achievements, despite the challenges you have faced that many of your peers and adults haven't, mean so much more.
The future is yours, we are here to help and guide you as you choose your post 16 course..
Congratulations to @st_patricks@BelvedereGDST@COLCollege and ALL of the schools working in collaboration through the Liverpool HEARTS Project for being shortlisted for the ARC Alex Timpson Awards 2024. A wonderful achievement 👏 @JTurnross@liverpool_hope @cmcafs

Going in to foster care is generally pretty terrifying. Could you make it less terrifying? Could you make a difficult difficult day a little less difficult? @lpoolfostering
@philwatson184 That's an epic collection Phil! The kids will love them!
Particularly love the giraffe one - 'giraffe to leave sir?'
Also love the Winnie the Pooh one, I fondly nickname you, Tigger, as you pop up everywhere with amazing energy and bring joy. Blessed to have you in team LCC!
AS: Earlier this year, #ADCS24 published a paper called Childhood Matters, it is an urgent call to arms to put children and families at the heart of all national policy decisions... I shared these statistics back in April and I’m doing so again as quite frankly, they are shameful
@jazampawfarr That's the core purpose of Virtual Schools! Positive Disruption, challenging colleagues to be 10% braver and "withness" - sharing the journey with young people and adults who support them.
Our work is complex, however, it is beyond rewarding. 💜
Thank you to everyone who came to our EmpowerED conference event today. Your presence, attention, interaction and commitment made the event wonderful and helps us to begin our next chapter of the journey. We write the story and empower the next generation to write theirs.

Thank you @jazampawfarr for bringing us back to our WHY and being the living proof of a WAGOLL and what the impact of our work can be.
You challenge us to be braver, less judgemental of ourselves so we can turn up consistently every day for the young people we serve. (4/5)
@BussModel We are excited about the BUSS Model project in Early Years to begin with. We are really looking forward to working with you for the benefit of our young people 💜
So proud of our Virtual School Team. Phenomenal bunch of humans with a shared goal, passion, and drive. Thanks to each and everyone of them for their dedication and support. Together, we can move mountains 💜
A special thank you to our Director of Education and Inclusion, Reena Bhogal-Welsh for joining us at the conference and for your closing remarks at the end. We are looking forward to the journey ahead where we strengthen and galvanise a sense of belonging and strengthen our work.
