Indonesia Withdraws Two Mixed Doubles Pairs from 2026 BWF World Championships Amid BWF Integrity Probe

In a significant development for the international badminton community, the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has officially adjusted its mixed doubles line-up for the upcoming 2026 BWF World Championships

The pairs Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil will not compete at the prestigious event

PBSI confirmed the decision is linked to an ongoing independent judicial process being conducted by the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) Independent Hearing Panel. The panel is examining alleged integrity code violations involving several Indonesian players

The federation stated that the line-up change forms part of its commitment to ensuring all administrative and participation procedures fully comply with international regulations and mechanisms

Further updates will follow once the BWF Independent Hearing Panel delivers its ruling
