I haven’t been journaling lately. I’ve just been so drained, but I’m still trying my best to keep up with everything.
It has been such a crazy time. One day I see the number in my account going up, and the next day it’s back down again. I’m trying so hard to keep up with all my debt, and I honestly can’t wait for the day I finally get out of this mess.
I’ve been thinking about going back to California, but I know when that day comes, I’m probably going to miss it here too. Maui has been part of my life for so long, through the good and the bad.
Today is my birthday, but I still had to work super early. I came in at 6:30 this morning to get everything done. I’m so tired, but at the same time, I’m grateful. At least I still have some income coming in.
Things are hard right now, but I’m still here, still working, still trying.
Hopefully this birthday is the beginning of a better chapter for me.
That feeling of being unbreakable came back this morning.
I woke up carrying a weight that’s been sitting on my shoulders for a while.
Sometimes, it’s not just the pressure that hurts. It’s the words that come with it.
When people are disappointed, they can say things that cut deeper than they realize. Those words stay with you long after the conversation is over.
I won’t pretend it didn’t affect me.
It did.
For a moment, I felt like I was falling apart.
But then I reminded myself that this season doesn’t define me.
I’m going to keep working. Keep building. Keep believing that better days are ahead.
Maybe one day I’ll read these journal entries again and realize they weren’t just stories about struggle.
They were proof that I never gave up.
One day at a time.
Today was one of those crazy, stressful mornings.
I had to move some planters, but once I got there, I had no idea how I was going to fit them into my tiny car. I stood there trying to figure it out, feeling completely overwhelmed.
The owner was kind enough to let me leave them there until after work.
A few hours later, he called and left me a voicemail saying he had taken care of everything.
I can’t even explain the relief I felt. Sometimes, the smallest act of kindness can take so much weight off your shoulders. Today, he truly saved me.
The rest of the day didn’t slow down. Payroll still needs to be done, but I never found a moment to sit down and finish it.
Lately, every day feels the same. Wake up. Work. Solve problems. Worry about the next thing. Repeat.
Sometimes I wonder…
When will my day off come?
But tomorrow morning, I’ll wake up and do it all over again.
I’m just hoping that one day, all of this hard work will be worth it.
Woke up early this morning, cleaned up the shop, and had a little breakfast.
Today was a little easier because my daughter didn’t have school, so I didn’t have to rush to drop her off.
But I had to clean everything by myself.
I’m tired. My body is sore. Some mornings I wish I could slow down for just a little while.
But I keep reminding myself why I’m doing this.
I have a family to support. I have bills to pay. I have a business that depends on me.
So I take a deep breath, unlock the door, and keep going.
Not every day is exciting. Not every day is a big win.
Sometimes, just showing up is enough.
And today, that’s enough for me.
I’ve been working nonstop for the past three weeks.
My body aches. My mind is exhausted. Some days I wonder how much longer I can keep going.
There are moments when the stress feels overwhelming. Bills keep coming, responsibilities never stop, and sometimes it feels like I can’t catch my breath.
But even on the hardest days, I’m grateful.
I’m grateful to have a job.
I’m grateful to have a business to open every morning.
I’m grateful that I get to come home and hug my daughter.
I’m grateful to live in a place that reminds me every day how beautiful life can be.
Life isn’t perfect right now, and that’s okay.
I’m learning that gratitude and struggle can exist at the same time.
So tomorrow, I’ll wake up early, unlock the shop, do my best, and keep moving forward.
Maybe one day I’ll look back at this season and realize it was preparing me for something greater.
Until then… one day at a time.
I put $1,000,000 into the most hated stock on the market.
Everyone says $BYND is dead.
Everyone says it’s going to zero.
I think it’s the misunderstood turnaround of the decade. 🎥👇
