Regulate reels. If not at least ban their monetization. A lot of issues for India created from outside will end.
An average Indian uses 28 GB data at one of the world's lowest rates. Of that nearly 20 GB is used for useless dance and drama reels.
Freeing that will free a lot of capital for Indian ISPs to provide internet to very remote areas.
And also better internet to serious customers and content makers using it for educational content, work, video conferencing and such.
Squeezing Indian companies to provide cheap data that's only used by India's adversaries without a challenge to program Indians using fake news and perversion is suicide.
Temple visit diary from yesterday's trip 🧵
Visited eight temples in the Tiruvallur - Nagari - Tirupati belt yesterday. Whenever we make a trip to Tirupati, it has always been a rush to go to Tirumala, have His sevai and then if time permits cover Varahar and Tiruchanoor.
Decided to cover a bunch of enroute temples this time. To avoid getting up early at 4 AM and travel all the way, opted to leave the earlier evening and stay in Tiruvallur for the night and start comfortably next day morning.
Wednesday - Oct. 1:
Chennai 1730
Tiruvallur 1915. Dinner through Swiggy and rest.
Thursday - Oct. 2
Breakfast in Nitya Amritam.
Went to Veeraraghavar Sannadhi at 0815. We were told that sannadhi will be open only at 0930. We moved on to our next stop.

Computer built a 3D map of nearly 26,000 restaurants and cafes across all five boroughs of New York City.
Search by dish or neighborhood, then step inside places like Peter Luger and Grand Central Oyster Bar.
@sundarmail This is fact. I had also worked as a site engineer in L&T MRPL phase 2 project during 1998. Sunday was the only day we used to rest a bit… travelling between Surathkal to Site daily would itself extract half of our energy. But, I did love that job irrespective of long hrs.
The real purpose of wealth is to have the calm to live your life your way. It's to have the freedom to slow down. To spend your days doing things that you actually care about. That’s what money is really for. Not to impress strangers. Or to collect expensive distractions. But to own your time. To have a quiet breakfast without checking emails. Long dinners without looking at the clock. Conversations without feeling rushed. A calm weekend without thinking about the spreadsheet you need to turn in on Tuesday. Time to read. To think. To explore your interests. That’s real wealth. Everything else is noise.
🚨☀️ Finally, TN government notifies rooftop solar subsidy
scheme
Tamil Nadu is finally set to roll out its ₹22,000 state subsidy for rooftop solar installations, in addition to the Centre’s PM Surya Ghar subsidy.
🔹 1 kW: ₹30K Centre + ₹5K TN
🔹 2 kW: ₹60K Centre + ₹10K TN
🔹 3 kW: ₹78K Centre + ₹22K TN
That takes the combined subsidy for a 3 kW system to ₹1 lakh.
The scheme targets 1 lakh domestic consumers by March 2027, with ₹50 crore allocated for the state subsidy.
A good push towards reducing household electricity consumption and encouraging rooftop solar adoption.
Your comment may be a joke. But I want to share here one of the Ramana Maharshi's quotes I find appropriate.
"Advaita should be in bhava, in the disposition of the mind; it will not do for outside, worldly affairs.
You are asked to look at everything with equality but can we eat the same food that a dog eats?
We eat a certain quantity of food but will that be enough for an elephant?
So you should have the attitude of Advaita only in bhava, in the mind, but you should follow the world in other matters." - Ramana Maharishi
