In a dispute over a ten-guntha plot near Chokhi Dhani in Wagholi, the BJP district president has been accused of attempting to illegally take control of the land by bringing in 40-50 goons, according to the landowner.

The landowner has also alleged that the police refused to file a complaint in this matter. The landowner, Vaidya, a CA by profession, created a video from the police station premises detailing the incident and went viral on social media. He claims that senior police officials ordered not to file a complaint. He has had possession of the land since around 2001, but BJP district president Satav attempted to take illegal control of the land, leading to a civil suit in court.

An assistant inspector had previously been suspended in connection with this land issue. Vaidya has warned that he would self-immolate if he does not receive justice.
