The parents of Virginia Tech students are going to make me drink tonight. Because Blacksburg is under a boil mandate for water (been in effect for about 5 hours), these parents are absolutely LOSING their minds that VT isn’t providing their precious angels with bottled water immediately and plentifully. The parents are contacting every department director they can think of to harass them about this issue. What Karen and Sharon in New Jersey don’t understand is we have people here without ANY water, without power and without homes. People who have lost everything and may not even be alive due to this storm. The selfishness and entitlement is astounding. And very disheartening. I really feel for our University staff right now.
