This is the map that we finished today in just under 3 hours. It does have a few things that can be polished with more time and work, however, i's already a usable map for a campaign. Hope whoever was watching was able to learn something from me today. For their own D&D journey.
@moomellowvt Getting a campaign-ready map in under three hours is impressive especially if people can actually follow along and learn the process. I’m curious which parts you usually polish first when you take a map from usable to fully finished.
📯 The Valkyrie is just one of the 70 Classes you can play in L.O.R.E. 📯
Final Fantasy Tactics x D&D in a new #ttrpg of endless builds, dynamic encounters, and a game you can play forever.
Don't miss out! Back in on Kickstarter when it launches on October 7th.

When I first started 3D printing, I often wondered to myself: How many figures does 1 liter of resin produce?
I'll answer it for anyone curious here, that is 70 infanty/hero sized models and one monstrous creature, plus about 10 failures over that bottle. Everything there came out of the 1L bottle sitting behind them. Five full print plates on an Elegoo Saturn 4.
The failures were not the fault of the printer of STLs, I have resized all of these models to normalize them at 35mm scale, which means I needed to re-support them all as well, and my supports were not always perfect, resulting in 3 or 4 failed models like the one in the last picture where I didn't have sufficient support and something printed incorrectly. There were no complete failures in the whole batch.
The other failures were a result of me removing supports in my usual manner, which is to say like a barbarian tearing a chainmail bikini off.
Now to 6 or 8 hours of priming and applying some basic zenithals... 🤣
@CDuds2024 70 infantry hero models and a monster from one liter is a surprisingly useful benchmark and might be the most honest explanation of support removal I’ve heard. The zenithal stage after all that sounds like quite the project!
We need a government founded, funded, and regulated education system in exactly the same way that we need a govt. founded, funded, and regulated press, and a govt. founded, funded, and regulated religion.
@friedsammich Interesting framing the comparison between education, press and religion raises some big questions about where public funding and government oversight should begin and end.
