I had a great & eye-opening experience participating in #BellLetsTalk this year. I was much more active and engaging this year than previous years. This is such a great initiative but PLEASE remember, it does NOT end here! Keep talking! Keep learning! #MentalHealthMatters ❤️
We all have a chance to make a difference today with a simple gesture. Let's work together. For every #BellLetsTalk tweet, Bell will donate 5¢ to mental health.
Even if someone else had/has it worse than you, it doesn’t mean you have to magically stop being depressed. Everyone is going through different things. #BellLetsTalk
In Australia, they designate a day to ask everyone around you “Are you okay?”. It’s called R U OK? Day! I think it’s so cool and so helpful. Just one little question can help someone! #BellLetsTalk
In my clinical placement on a mental health unit, I learned that if you ask someone straight up if they feel like taking their life, they will tell you. Be straightforward. #BellLetsTalk
Mental health affects everyone. Let’s come together to increase awareness, continue the conversation, and fight to end the stigma. #BellCause#BellLetsTalk
#BellLetsTalk about the people who suffer in silence. #BellLetsTalk about the people who aren’t clinically diagnosed. #BellLetsTalk about the ones who are confused about what they are going through. #BellLetsTalk about those who help others but neglect themselves.
I wrote this song when I was young dealing with depression, body dysmorphia, chronic sadness. What I didn’t realize was that I wasn’t alone, that’s the thing with sadness, it makes you think ur alone. But ur not.
Today every RT of #bellletstalk is 5c to mental health initiatives.
