And that’s a wrap on the fall 2024 semester!
Thank you to all of our lab members and research participants for such a successful semester, we couldn’t do what we do without you 💛
One of our undergraduate research assistants, Fedora, just presented at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists in Pittsburgh! She presented on a project she’s been spearheading in the CCDL (results to come!).
We are so proud of you Fedora!!
Congratulations to our research assistant Lamiya for presenting one of our lab’s research projects at the Undergraduate Research Fair this week! We are so proud of you 🫶
Today we'll be introducing our newest lab members for the 2024 fall semester! First, meet Alyssa from Cleveland, Ohio. Alyssa has plans to go into educational policy after teaching. She enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and volunteering and touring at local museums!
Finally, meet Maria! She loves working with children and families, and some of her most important values are meeting each child without prejudice, and learning to tailor her practice according to the needs of the wonderful individual she is facing at the present.
Next, meet Jason. He is a third-year undergraduate student, majoring in Economics and Cognitive Studies. He is involved in research projects and campus activities that align with his academic interests and career goals. Jason enjoys calligraphy, basketball, and lion dancing.
We’ve had so much fun meeting families in the Nashville area and sharing our research this last month 🫶
We have a couple more events this month, and we’d love to see you there 🍁🍂
