Manny Asuncion, a known BAYAN leader in Cavite, was shot dead early this morning in what was initially reported as a "raid" of labor union office in Dasmariñas City. Reports of arrests of labor activists are also coming in from Laguna and Rizal, all happened early on Sunday.
