This is this week's project. This time, there is no source code—only a video. The goal is to control and modify the live video stream using hand gestures. The main task is to investigate the services and architecture behind it, figure out how it works, and then explain it in detail.
As for the book, I was curious about how its cover would be changed. Maybe it will also inspire a few students to look it up, explore it, and perhaps even read it. Source code tomorrow.

I’ve been running my Company Brain in the office I built based on GBrain. Thanks to you.
Last week, a company - I did another project for - saw it and wanted to use it for their WhatsApp support channel, so I quickly built a cloud version.
Two days ago, our local municipality's tech department (serving 3M people) wanted to adopt it via their massive APIs.
I jumped on the opportunity. Today, it turns out the municipality's department runs the entire transit infrastructure. But it’s not just clean APIs—it’s a scattered web of services querying old-school SQLite & Postgres databases directly, handling massive data loads. Things are getting interesting.

Crazy timing. I’ve been running my OS Company Brain in my office I built a few weeks back (inspired by @garrytan's GBrain).

Yesterday, a software firm working with our local municipality (serving 3M people) wanted to adopt it for CRM data via their massive APIs.
I jumped on the opportunity immediately. It's going to be an incredible stress test. Here :

Actually, we're just testing and playing around with what's already possible. I am teaching CS. I ask the students to produce the same thing. I ask them to describe the tools, prompts, etc., they used while producing it. Then I ask them to read the generated code and explain its structure. This becomes a metric when we evaluate them. Of course, we're teaching the fundamentals, but I think this is better than asking them to draw flowcharts on paper at this era
@garrytan Thanks for Gbrain.
I built a "company brain" for my needs last week based on your concept.
Today it got its first customer. A client who uses WhatsApp for customer support saw it in action and asked if they could use it too.
The funny part is that it's open source
@garrytan 1.wk of Vitrus has been surprisingly productive.
We've been testing, fixing , and learning from real usage.
The idea still feels right:
AI should know what it knows — and what it doesn't.
More experiments, improvements, upd. coming.

Week 1 of Vitrus ✅
Lots of testing. Lots of bugs. Lots of learning.
Every day makes the product a little smarter and a little more honest.
Still building. Still experimenting. Still shipping. 🚀

And built Tunr for vibe coders.
Expose your local app to the internet in under 3 seconds.
No tunnel setup.
No HTTPS headaches.
No config files.
Just run Tunr and share a public URL.
Open source, written in Go.

Inspired by @garrytan's gbrain, I built a memory layer for companies.
Vitrus answers from your internal tools, cites its sources, and explicitly shows what it doesn't know.
Markdown-native. MCP-ready. Open core.
