and Neural Filters on UXP ready for community contribution next year are just a few of the updates from @adobemax this year. Incredibly proud of the team that made this happen. https://t.co/Q7y7nmVAf0
💯 everyone deserves to use our products and everyone deserves the ability to create what's in their mind's eye and tell their stories. so proud that the extensibility platform we're building brings us one step closer to making this a reality.
(3/3) Another one: blackjack (< 3mo) vs. poker. Love this, bc in blackjack, even when you play by the book, odds are you will lose (read: not sleep enough 🤪). After 3 mos, it gets more complicated and there is no single playbook. Hope I’m better at parenting than I am at poker!
(1/3) I’ve been on parental leave for the last 6 wks and one of the better analogies I’ve heard (thx @MiriamBWilliams) is that parenting before ~3 months is all ops. The goal is straightforward: keep baby alive + growing, while maximizing your and your partner’s sleep + sanity
(2/3) There are a couple playbooks to optimize the discrete parameters (eating and sleeping, most notably), but not too many choices. Afterwards, you add strategy. The system consists of increasingly intelligent actors, the choices expand exponentially and become more personal
To start, we’re setting a goal to deploy 50% of funds from the #adobefundfordesign moving forward to underrepresented communities and we’re adding a new grant type to provide more financial support to members of our dev community impacted by COVID-19: https://t.co/YxwXN8GTrd
We @Adobe and @creativecloud need to do more to address inequality in the creative and developer communities and to support our partners impacted by today’s economic environment. 1/2
We usually ascribe inequality to the negative treatment towards a group and often forget that favoritism - positive treatments towards a select few - could contribute to the cycle of inequality just as viciously. Thanks @HiddenBrain https://t.co/PjPFSzuFyH
with a daughter on the way, who will be born into relative privilege, I understand now more than ever the obligation we have to raise our next generations to be more conscious, more compassionate, more just than we are. We have to do this by example. This is a courageous one.
I've resigned as a member of the reddit board, I have urged them to fill my seat with a black candidate, + I will use future gains on my Reddit stock to serve the black community, chiefly to curb racial hate, and I’m starting with a pledge of $1M to @kaepernick7’s @yourrightscamp
Our developer platform has never been more important. Our products should work they way our users do. As new work styles emerge, we'll power integrations that meet evolving needs and ensure our customers can stay productive & creative. Proud of the team that makes this possible!
A round up of some useful integrations you might not know about that can help improve productivity and collaboration when working from home: https://t.co/FUbvuUtCqf
Great way to support some of the most critical people and initiatives during the #COVID19 crisis. Thanks to @Google for matching donations 2:1 https://t.co/iZXm3XlPPa
