once I master colour theory and anatomy and line art and composition and story telling and value and lighting and rendering and texture and perspective and environment design ,it's over fo you guys 🙏🏾
If it doesn't work, take a break, get back to it later, or try something else. Either way, you made it exist, so don't be afraid if it's messy. It could even lead to a cool art style ❤️
I said years ago that physical media was going to make a major comeback because owning art is way more important than streaming and scrolling. Magazines, DVDs, cds, photobooks, journals, lookbooks, and even theatre is going to be in full force again. And it’s going to start creating more third spaces again once phone fatigue really sets in. We won’t have to scroll to see what you wore, or where you went, we’ll have a seasonal notebook, a seasonal journal, a physical mailing list. Slow creation will be back on the rise again too. Projects that take 6 months to a year to execute, being promoted for 8 months straight instead of quickly moving onto the next thing. It’ll get to a point eventually where I even think being an online personality will almost feel taboo if you don’t have real audience and community connections outside of social media.
