I don’t approve of taking kids’ playtime away as a punishment at school. Socialising & exercising are 2 of the most important patterns of behaviour for promoting wellbeing & these happen abundantly during playtime. Given this, depriving kids of play seems immoral. #twitterEPs
Delighted that Leeya and I have had our paper published
"We had nowhere to go" - children's experiences of homelessness
It's in the latest special edition of ECP, wonderfully edited by Marc, Leeya & Charmian.
If you'd like a copy of paper let me know 🙏

There is still so much focus on only assessing an individual… Imagine if we focus more on assessing the context around the person, that impacts on daily experience…. We exist in context and not in isolation of others and an environment. It can’t just be a “you problem”.
