@LyneaDH @DrZedZha Similar experience when I consulted on an inpatient medical service. The patient had unexpectedly started talking strangely. I rapidly saw that she had a stroke. The service said naw, she just wanted to go home. I urged MRI: left temporal infarct.

@DrZedZha I have many patients who tell me that they hear this "explanation" for their medical disorder over and over. "It's all in your head" is not a validated neurological process. I take seriously all bodily complaints from my patients, and are not imaginary.
