Her story is very tragic that it still upsets me but also angers me at the same time, if it wasn’t for her stupid abuser and alcoholic father, she would’ve still been alive today and maybe could’ve had a voice acting career too, who knows but it’s really sad what happened to her especially in the age of 10.
It's actually revolting that someone who just started watching avatar for the first time understands why Korra trusted her fucking uncle but the fandom can't understand this for over a decade.
It honestly shouldn't even be considered a hot take to claim that sexualizing a person's sona and/oc WITHOUT explicit permission is weird and gross. Especially if it's supposed to represent what they look like irl
Watching the final scene of ‘All Dogs Go to Heaven’ makes me even more emotional knowing that she & her mother became victims in the hands of her father before the film was released.
The crew was so devastated that they had to stop working for weeks: hearing her voice recordings was too painful.
A tragic story. A talent gone too soon!
I feel like if you weren’t a bit of a comic nerd you don’t know how racist this was. His whole thing is he can’t die, it would be like Superman just getting shot or Batman getting outsmarted.
