I understand it in motorsports, but Marathon is just a videogame.

@NAPainter_ @reed_49 @symtex He was comparing f1 or motorsports, where people are paid if they win, and have sponsors that pay them. The only thing close to that in Marathon right now is streamers, who have a motivation to have good games for their viewers.

@NAPainter_ @symtex Taking adv of a meta play gun attachment bug is not the same as going out of your way to ruin another players experience. But yes both are immoral in the sense of integrity of the game, it’s boring if everyone uses one weapon. Do you want to have fun? Or play with max efficiency?

@NAPainter_ @symtex In anything competitive loopholes end up being fixed/dealt with, which means that the people taking advantage of loopholes are in the wrong. The whole idea of a using a loophole is to be disingenuous. Using loopholes is loser mentality. Play the game how it’s intended.
