The best cure for losing discipline is remembering what it is youve cemented down. say you have your edge crafted to fit certain criteria, you need to convince yourself that as your strategy is good enough that youll wait to see it. it all stems from confidence bro. if your not confident in your strategy it means you dont trust yourself.
@SRxTrades your right bro honestly. its so overlooked today, you can have the best strategy mapped out but without the discipline to execute it properly it all means nothing. profitability is a state of mind that converts to money
How can you criticise beginners for doing the things you once did as a trader.
Istg some traders out there think they’re shit doesn’t smell. Bruh. You had the same problems a few years ago.
@AbassFx_ I’m always thinking this, it’s ironic that the arguably more important part of trading is always brushed to the side by the “mentors” and never really spoken about. It’s because they don’t want to teach properly, and most dont care enough to really point it out
I don’t see why this needs to be said though, we’ve all went through this stage at some point. Anyone who says they haven’t is purely lying to seem that bit more expert. Theres no focus on psychology for the newbies these days. But we’ve all been there. No matter how profitable you are now.
@Atalburhani It may not be the know all end all, but it’s defo worth having a look at getting some objective sources of journaling, to take yourself out of the write up equation🤝
Majority of traders would be “screwed” without them not just traders who haven’t mastered themselves yet. Infact a trader who hasn’t mastered himself probably has the least amount of use for the props, because all they do is lose money. You probably rely on them more than the beginners would bruh.
@CRTwithSaint If your a trader. Beginner or not, unless your sitting on a yacht in Monaco, your in no position to not be waiting for market open. Why so many people on here pretending they ain’t sweating for that Asia session open.
@AtifHussainOG This won’t “transform” your win rate. Regardless of knowing you SHOULD enter at these points. It all means nothing if you don’t have the discipline to wait to enter, to wait to find and to wait to execute. Everything else is a gamble till you’ve mastered your psychology bruh.
@steadyedge01@ValeriyBreakout The confidence in yourself matters 10x more than any strategy you could ever learn. The edge comes from yourself not your strategy
@alkali_dangana@ValeriyBreakout Because you’re blaming yourself brother. Your strategy won’t always line up, it’s ok. The market doesn’t always facilitate. You gotta be confident then you’ll be calm
There’s a reason for that, mastering your mental side allows you to be fully confident in the trades you’re taking. That way if the trade goes wrong, you’re CONFIDENT it wasn’t your strategy, instead it was the market not feeling it that day. See the difference. One is self hate, the other is self confidence. That’s the big difference
