Happy birthday to my wonderful son. @elonmusk has given me 55 years of joy.
It’s so much fun to celebrate with family and friends.
His cake is a rocket and a moon base 🎂🎂🎉
most yall niggas is illiterate fr
and have a tenuous (if that) grasp and command of the English Language. (Which would be excusable if it weren't your primary tongue. But for most of you, that isn't the case.)
It would do you a world of good to actually learn how to put words together to make a sentence sound good.
Have you any idea what power one can wield once this skill is sufficiently developed? Have you any idea the capacity and potential that lies dormant, ready to be awakened should you apply yourself to this craft?
Look at this shit. I am literally putting words into your brain. As you read this right now, not only is it registering profoundly in the depths of your subconscious, where these words will be recorded forever... but so too is your larynx subtly vibrating at near undetectable levels as you sub-vocalise each syllable.
How is it that you have not yet resolved to diligently study this art and cultivate your ability to effortlessly transfer information into the brains of other people?
AND BEFORE YOU ASK THE LAZY QUESTION OF
"but how??"
Open a google doc. Pick a topic. And start pressing the buttons on your keyboard. Read back what you wrote. Ask yourself what changes could be made to improve the flow and coherence of the sentences that you just created. Get your own feedback first. Then ask others or ai for theirs.
Read other great works that were published prior to WW2, and absorb in your mind the taste and feel of great syntax and sentence structure. Practice it over, and over, and over. With specific purpose and clear intent. And one day. You too, may be a great writer, orator, and communicator.
Most who read this will nod and think "Yeah wow that sounds good." Less than one percent of you will actually do anything about it. Those who actually take action, and commit themselves to this, will find gold.
The rest of you may continue to enjoy the mediocrity of your sub-par ability to express yourselves!
Namaste.
Kendrick Lamar - Euphoria: I make music that electrify 'em, you make music that pacify 'em.
Domestic abuse reference then pacification line. Could be a reach but I'm not sure how intentional this was.
Could be a reach but Drake - Gen 5
I know that I'm treating you better than him
Cause you do not come home with no blackened eye.
And you know I call you my baby girl, no wonder that you been feeling pacified.
Strength runs out
Weakness is always there
Secret to longevity
Is the humility
Having great strength
Then leaning into your weakness
Embracing it like you're incapable
Then exerting your strength trying your hardest like you're at your weakest,
Something like that
