One of Musk's reported goals for Twitter is to switch revenue from ads to paid subscriptions.
It's the most ethical approach, but I doubt he'll make it.

Twitter is currently operating at a loss.
And the $13b worth of loans to make the buyout deal happen doesn't help. So right now, it's essential to fix (or at least maintain) Twitter's financials.
And turning into subscriptions won't be the way to do it.

PoW is bad for the environment, but PoS isn't at all.
Most crypto technologies today are based in PoS. So they're not harmful.
If you don't like people unknowingly laughing about PHP you shouldn't do the same ;)
