The @saskparty Minister of Labour Don Morgan (pictured below), agreed to speak at our convention months ago, but cancelled after his gov’t announced they were firing 400 @sgeu members. He was too scared to look them in the eye and answer their questions. #bawkbawk@SaskMLA
Called for this on June 30. Vaccinated people, kids, and the vulnerable shouldn’t have to give up and stay home.
Why is this so hard? Did a two dose summer meant giving in to an extreme minority? Events, games, and public spaces belong to all of us.

Actor Kiefer Sutherland says his mother, actress Shirley Douglas, has died at the age of 86. The daughter of Tommy Douglas — who led the forerunner of the NDP — she was also once married to actor Donald Sutherland. Kiefer Sutherland tweeted the following message:
This is a stressful time for all of us, but it can be especially scary or confusing for kids.
This Monday at 10 AM I'll be hosting a live press conference for Saskatchewan kids, answering their questions about COVID-19 and what it means for all of us.

Congratulations to Stacey Strykowski on being nominated tonight as the newest candidate for the Saskatchewan NDP! 🎉
Stacey is a great advocate for healthcare in her community and would make a terrific MLA for the Canora-Pelly constituency.

Don’t you love it when a Deputy Minister finds it necessary to hit the airwaves to make excuses and cover for the incompetent companies they’ve hired. If this was public sector workers he’d be falling all over himself to blame them.
.@SaskParty just voted down a motion to debate the crisis in our classrooms. Parents, teachers, and kids in schools who know there is a crisis will hear loud and clear that their government just doesn't care. #skpoli
I’ve been hearing from many local businesses that are hurting because of the #SaskCrowns workers being without a paycheque. This hurts our economy.
And of course, this is very hard for those workers & their families.
Get these workers a fair offer, Sask. Party.

It’s great to see this Weyburn group home moving to the next stage. Thanks to everyone who spoke out to ensure Saskatchewan is a welcoming place for people with disabilities.
“Carbon pricing, for all of its economic merits, is a political disaster. It’s time to shift the conversation in a more productive direction before it’s too late.”
Important points from @maxfawcett on why we need to choose ways of reducing emissions people can support.
"The most important goal of any government, is the quality of life of the people they serve, our health and our well-being. The neglected part of that health, has been our mental health."
