@PoopingIRL Colonize a planet and use its materials to build a warpgate between your capital. Construct a dyson sphere with materials from capital, which is also a better ring world. Make a giant starport and construct a fleet. With the warpgate you have two or more fronts to attack.

@PoopingIRL They would be instead used to make a star system go dark, only known/reachable to you. Then you would build a colony and starport on it, becoming an undiscoverable threat. It's also used to power other megastructures, which are also hidden from prying eyes.
