Honest question (no snark). Considering the quality of candidates in NY City mayoral race, why isn't a #Libertarian candidate in that race (that I know of)? Even if he/she doesn't win, wouldn't it help getting voters thinking/learning about the party?

If S.131 gets voted in and a precedent is set, I say we start pushing the REPEAL of already enacted gun laws (Act 94, for example) on a town by town basis, simply by adding a charter change to individual towns during Town Meeting Day. Few # of voters that day, may work.

Due process/property rights

Ambiguous/risky selective enforcement
