@aj_geo_analysis@Kathleen_Tyson_ You're assuming the rest of the world will behave like a bunch of animals, the way the collective West does.
I think you're wrong.
Either way, in no world can it be worse than what we have witnessed the collective West do in Gaza.
@offshoremayor I think you're missing part of what is going on.
The US is right now destroying the world economy. Despite its recent military weakness it wields enormous commercial and financial power.
The US can win just by playing for time.
I can provide you with further info if you want.
@offshoremayor I'm sure you want peace, but the question is how to win it.
Over the centuries, humanity as learned that when facing the collective West, passivity and reaching out are always counter-productive.
We are talking about a collective that behaves like an unthinking wild animal.
@Mark4XX The US will be collateral damage, barely affected.
The rest of the world would bear the brunt of the pain.
The US is holding the world hostage.
I can understand why Iran hesitates and is now thinking of striking the US again instead.
@ArmandoMema Mental instability sounds about right.
To be willing to put people in harm's way on such a scale, for the sake of small personal (and probably family) advancement must surely be described as pathological.
@ambrose_pike Based on what I heard, it would be pointless and therefore would give Iran opportunity to retaliate.
Assuming the info I've come across (Ted Postol is one) is correct, it's public, the Whitehouse would have to know too.
@simon_ree Bessent's actions look 'weak'. Changing the twice a week operations to $4bn (...) when they were at $2-15bn before looks the same as trying to influence JPY by 'leaking' calendar notes to the press.
He makes it look like his toolbox is empty.
Testing him is hard to resist.
