I am thrilled to share that I will be running track and studying journalism at the University of Maryland! After 3 years of going through the college search process and making so many new friends at Phillips Exeter Academy, I’m excited to know that I have a home for the next four years. This decision would not have been possible had I not gambled on an extra year of high school (and I cannot recommend the PG experience enough). In the end, it was definitely the right choice. Go Terps! 🐢

I’ve had so many people help me along the way. Thank you to my coaches at Westford Academy, Coach Hafferkamp and Coach Archambault. You and the entire staff constantly pushed me and worked with me to achieve my goals & progress each year I was under your tutelage. Thank you to Coach Newbould and all of the staff at PEA for giving me the opportunity this year. Going to my dream school truly would not have been possible without your faith in me. Finally, thank you to Coach Valmon and Coach Siebert at UMD for presenting me with this incredible opportunity. I am blessed to have two coaches that believe in my goals, and are willing to invest their time and energy to help me achieve them.

My family was always there for me, through the good and rough times, supporting my decisions. I cannot be more thankful for that. I’m excited to continue seeing them at many races in the future, and I still aim to one-up my dad and brother at Penn Relays. I’m excited to see what this opportunity brings and will certainly make the most of it!
