@AnthonyGermain How do labradorians feel about the fact Muscrat falls can’t fill the island’s unquenchable power needs? They get nada from the damming of their great river.
I don't always take #VOCM polls seriously but if 58% support developing "connected networks of shared-use trails to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and improve health" and another 29% support them if affordable, that's a lot of support! @CityofStJohns https://t.co/BKcv5OialM
It's great to see @CityofStJohns supporting active transportation with multiple projects breaking ground in 2023/2024. Provide your feedback in the link below.
Check out the @AtlBookAwards event lineup! On June 5, join the nominees of the Atlantic Book Award for Scholarly Writing –Carol Lynne D’Arcangelis, Mark David Turner, Elizabeth Yeoman– for a virtual conversation about Indigenous/settler collaborations, hosted by Shelia O’Neill.
@AnthonyGermain Anthony, please bring up the issue of Pretendians (see my facebook post). Why does CBC radio accept without question the existence of a Burgeo First Nation, for example.
@AryamanPlusPlus@tompowercbc @cbcradioq @Adele Missed it live in NL but thanks to the magic of https://t.co/VYH057atVp I can listen to it in Pacific Mountain time. Looking forward to that.
@OnTheGoCBC Ted it was David Cameron who appointed Moya Greene to the Royal Mail, not Boris Johnson, so your guest's credibility falls in my mind. Cameron capped her salary to no more than 20 times the smallest Royal Mail salary, but it was still high!
uk, listening to the woman from Destination St. John's on @onthegocbc trying to justify the lack of people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds in our tourism ads. What a lot of guff. There is no excuse. Represent the world as it is, not as you want it to be. Shame.
