This is probably an unpopular opinion but I have never rated John Plumtree - he was Head Coach at the Sharks between 2008 and 2012 and the results in Super Rugby were mediocre.
The Sharks were badly lacking cohesion as NZ are now.
There's just something so satisfying with watching a team overcome and deliver under intense pressure like the @Blitzboks did in HK over the weekend.
And you could see why the players' celebrations were so supercharged.
@Trav_HK
@Trav_HK Sheeeesh, feels so authentic too.
That's what players connect with - a very real, genuine sense of purpose.
JP Pietersen is a good example this.
Just to let you all know that the West Indies got knocked out of the World Cup on March 1st .. it’s now March 9th .. they are still stranded in Kolkata .. SA are in the same position .. !!!!!!!!!!!! This isn’t right … England got on a charter 36 hrs after being knocked out .. as should be the case for all teams ..
@SharksRugby When you find JP Pietersen's first tour with the Sharks and fixture against the Chiefs when he stepped off the right and set up a beauty in Hamilton, let me know. ❤️
