Tanganga struggles against anyone 5’10 or above. Physically inept at this level without Jake Cooper next to him.
Played well for 55 mins. Lost our way. A lot of players on the beach as soon as they scored.
Loans this year been horrific. Stay up and go again.
Personally think we run out of steam and as soon as the press goes (35 mins ish), similar happened against them lot, it all goes flat for a period, then other team get on top unless it’s a two goal margin. #sufc
I actually think we defended pretty well tonight. Davies wasn’t coming for ball 4 yards away from corners so that was inevitable but otherwise did okay.
Seriki one is crazy.
But even if you defend well, you can’t do it for 45+ mins when the ball just keeps coming back.
@jjwhaling@sheff71@adam3oxley@footballheaven Would a Blackburn result, WBA loss and Leicester win also relegate before Sunday? Would put Blackburn out of the picture, WBA 34 and Leicester 35. When they play each other one team has to reach 36+ so couldn’t catch the team in 21st?
Agree to some extent. This is very common in academy football.
Athletes first, footballers second. That way they have a better chance of making it at a professional level (fee for academy selling to champ/ L1/2) but lower chance of making it at the top level.
Why do Newcastle struggle to create and keep the ball?
Gordon - runner
Tonali - runner
Joelinton - runner
Bruno - footballer
Elanga - runner
Not enough football IQ and it’s all down to Eddie’s preference for ball chasers. He signs athletes over footballers.
Soumaré will do for me. Physically he could play in the Prem, technically L1 / bottom half Champ but can improve. There’s a player there. 3 points all that matters, biggest 3 points in 6 months. Pick up a few til Jan and then we push on. #sufc
The biggest tell tale sign he’s lost the dressing room is when players had a huddle in middle of pitch second half.
EVERYONE always goes over to the sideline for instructions and not one went as far as I could see.

@SmiggyDesigns I was close to saying that, need another two games to judge but I think you might be right. He won’t be here by Christmas unless we bring 4/5 starters in. No chance!
It’s hard to judge that because we’ve made 10 changes but for what’s it’s worth, I’ve been involved with and watched enough football to know this won’t work without significant investment.
I think current starting XI with same system finishes bottom half.

Never, ever going to work in this system and not sure it really worked last year for the financial outlay at his age.
Never thought we’d get a fee back so if we replace with someone who will score 5-8 goals next year - good deal.
Wrexham are close to agreement on a statement signing of Welsh striker Keiffer Moore from Sheffield United.
The Welsh club have agreed a fee and sorted out wages with the experienced target man who is expected to join in the next 48 hours. @reluctantnicko#twitterblades#sufc
Vini Souza is set to leave Sheffield United and will sign for Bundesliga club Wolfsburg. Souza will travel to Germany early next week to complete a medical after Wolfsburg and United agreed a £13m fee.
