WNBA gotta try to capitalize on more than just Caitlin Clark vs black players.
Flau’jae and Angel meeting on the court for the first time since LSU and I don’t see the slightest bit of promo/marketing around that. Not to mention Flau’jae just had her most successful game.
When my recent article came out on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, a few comments, mainly, attention seekers and or haters asked why his teammates had not spoken for him.
They have...a lot. Ignoring it doesn't make it a reality.
Eagles legends:
He changed retirement plans.
Fletcher Cox
“When your quarterback is like that, you definitely want to go out and play harder for him.”
Jason Kelce
“Obviously, I’m coming back because I want to win. I’m coming back because Jalen Hurts is there"
Brandon Graham
"I don't want to miss a Championship with Jalen"
He delayed surgeries.
Lane Johnson
Put off surgery on his torn adductor in Dec 2022 to rehab for two (or three) weeks so that he could play in the playoffs and SB.
Current and one former teammate:
He has the "it" factor
Saquon Barkley
"I dont really know how to explain it, but he has it, the it factor, to win, to win football games, he has that"
DeVonta Smith
"If I ain't got nothing in this city, I know I got him."
Dallas Goedert
"Being with Jalen is incredible, another big reason I came back"
Hollywood Brown
“I’ve always been a fan of Jalen Hurts from, even his story back in Alabama."
AJ Brown (despite how it ended, Hurts is why he came)
“Man, it’s going to be real special, man, I’m so excited, playing with someone who thinks like me. I talk to him every day regardless of this football stuff. I’m so excited just to play with him. He’s a quarterback and I’m a receiver so we get on the same page quick.”
Can we silence this nonsense now?
My latest: The WNBA’s longevity and success has never depended on bending the rules for a single player, and it shouldn’t start now. https://t.co/4sm8XObakK
B2K giving us wholesome teenaged music when we were young and yall growing up to call them corny and say their music didn't age well is the reason the kids don't have any age appropriate music today.
Dan Orlovsky told a cool Jalen Hurts story on the @WIPMiddayShow, saying Jalen spent 10 minutes with his son.
Hurts reacted to Orlovsky’s son using him in his comic book: “If I’m good enough for your comic book, your dad better be nicer to me on TV.” 🤣
