@amhinla @artfcity @theamywhit W.A.G.E is developing contracts for supply chain workers + exhibition agreements for artists, launching soon! We worked on an updated Siegelaub agreement on Blockchain for years (2016-19) but it's on ice for now :/
I just listed my first NFT on @withFND to celebrate the 10th anniversary of #OccupyWallSt! 🌐 🙌 to @vlknff for the work on the models and render, to @jeremybailey for the feedback, and @BeigeClimate for the support.

@MuseumPlanning Hello! In the 'Maximum W.A.G.E.' tier, compensation for a Solo Exhibition is capped at the average salary of the institution's full-time employees, ensuring that no one, artists included (ie Jeff Koons), profits from the redistribution of resources.
@harlanerskine@NYCGoblin If they got W.A.G.E. Certified they wouldn't be able to make these kinds of moves, so they resist. But that's why we added WAGENCY - artists can use it to demand W.A.G.E. fees from non-Certified institutions: https://t.co/p76XmdXkh3

@ZacharyHSmall@artnews Thanks for the coverage! An important clarification: small institutions appear to do more programs and pay out more $$ in total - relative to their operating budget size - than larger ones. This is very different than paying more $$ in fees!
October 13, 2019 marked 5 years since the launch of W.A.G.E. Certification, and with a total of $5,557,516 paid out to artists through 6,970 transactions, the program had something to celebrate on its 5th birthday – so we commissioned a report to mark it: https://t.co/bUbrg5EFX6
@BURNAWAYGA Great news! Now let's hope they make it official by getting W◼A◼G◼E◼ Certified! Join the list of over 70 organizations that have so far publicly committed to paying artists equitably: https://t.co/a1Gs7NygiD
@AllOfItWNYC@rpogrebin W.A.G.E. organizes artists - don't forget, we're also workers! WAGENCY launched in 2018: https://t.co/p76XmdXkh3
