@ryancbriggs It’s also dumb because the university is reacting incredibly quick to AI.
It’s unbelievable to see. After the Great Recession, everyone said the uni finance education needs total change (and no one says that now). With AI, the university started to chg b4 anyone talked about it.
@LouStagner@HackItOutGolf I’ve always been interested in Sasho’s theoretical argument, but I’ve never seen anyone try to put empirics to it.
@LouStagner have you ever found evidence that the advantage to distance asymptotes and if so where that would be?
@mungowitz Coming from a state school, it’s taken for granted that our students are coming to us because they want good jobs. In the article “pre-professional” is almost a slur
It’s interesting to see this element of “finishing school for the rich” still so intertwined in the school
@Nolan_Mc@mungowitz Seems the point is really that it’s a business degree. The great irony is that many of the great business schools don’t teach undergrads.
I once asked a Yale Professor about it. He said, “The University is steadfastly determined that undergrads not be taught anything useful.”
@thinkingshivers You are saying something slightly different in the first.
The carelessness comes from her being rich (you are absolving her).
In the second one you are saying, she’s careless (by nature?) but if she wasn’t rich that would have been “beaten out of her.” (by life experience)
@adamyounggolf If low point is 2-3 inches ahead, AoA 2-3 down, but fat shots (this session 6mm above, definitely fat on course), 90mph 7i
Then focus on arc height, right?
I guess I thought I needed to get AoA to 5-6 down, but maybe just sweep it?
