When I was a teen, a teacher was asking our class what our plans were for the future. The class laughed at my answer. At the time,our home life was so bad that my sisters and I were living from friend to friend while trying to finish school. Alcohol abuse at home, incredible financial hardship, mom so depressed that she eventually took her own life. I stood up in front of the class at 17 years old and said: “I want to be the most incredible husband and father that ever lived.” I’m very sure that there are better husbands and dads out there than me, but it has been my utter priority for these past 27 years of marriage and fatherhood. I honestly do not think that there is a higher calling for a man than to commit his every waking hour to taking care of his family. I see many of you working so hard and suffering so much to accomplish this and I honor you today. To me, you are far greater than any man who acts like a debased animal, flitting from woman to woman with his cigars and muscles and sports cars. Those are not ‘real’ men, they are teenage boys in aging bodies. You who put your wife and children above your ego, you are the cornerstone of all that is good in this terrible world. I see you!

I have no problem with folks being critical of Web3 and Web3 gaming. Heck, I rage about it every day on my livestream. It is rudeness and ad-hominem attacks I don’t tolerate. Conduct permitted is conduct endorsed. My CT timeline is clean as a whistle lately cos I hammer that block button like a drunk man in vegas lol.

My game design philosophy: Make the story cool and then make the game look cool first, then figure out how to make it fun. You need a whole community to figure out the fun loop, the other stuff is all just artistic expression, which we can now do with AI at the speed of thought. We were thinking about some kind of fun browser-based way to let players have fun while they deep-dived the game lore. So a card-based StS type browser vibe was born! You will be able to play it for free with all your OSP Defense NFTs soon and your input will make it more and more fun!
