The violence from Beijing’s puppets in #HongKong continues to grow. Our hearts go out to the brave pro-democracy fighters as they mourn the passing of one of their own.

Barely 9 o’clock in the morning, and across the other side of town, in Kwai Fong, a traffic cop gone berserk on a motorcycle is running protesters over. Several injuries reported. Watch till the very end. It’s very disturbing.
The No. 2 Democrat, Minority Whip @SenatorDurbin, has spoken out repeatedly in support of the #HKHRDA. This important legislation deserves a floor debate and vote in the Senate as soon as possible indeed.
3/ At #VictoriaPark, election hustings halted as police arrested 3 candidates on top of teargas and pepper spray. One had clear wound on his face during arrest.
2/ The assembly was yielding US Congress to support #HKHRDA. I was to speak about banning of my candidacy but peaceful assembly was arbitrarily called off by police. Minutes after, Central became smoky as police fired teargas, injuring a lot without masks.

1/ Conflicts re-kindled during weekend as hundreds of thousands took to streets in HK Island protesting unfair election screening and demanding free-election. By 8PM arrest no. went up to 200+ with police brutality.
I become the only candidate banned from running in November’s District Council Election as Returning officer, Laura ARON ruled my nomination invalid this morning. It proved how Beijing manipulate the election with political cersorship and screening.
