Yet today, as we look around, our children's eyes do not reflect the same light. They're taught from books that speak a different language, where the stories of our America are footnotes, overshadowed by new narratives that are less about unity and more about division, where 'woke' is the anthem and history is rewritten with each new dawn.

We stand at a crossroads, not just of ideologies, but of identity. Will we let this America, our old friend, fade into oblivion, or will we tell her tales? Will we ensure her spirit lives on, not just in our hearts, but in the minds of our young, who might never have known her, yet are her rightful heirs?

This is our call to action. To remember, to teach, to inspire. To ensure that the America we knew, the one we've lost, is not forgotten. For in her memory, we find the strength to reclaim what was, to blend it with what is, and to envision what can be.

Let us mourn her passing, but let us also rise, with her spirit as our guide, to forge a future where her legacy isn't just remembered, but lived. For America, our lost friend, is not truly gone, as long as we keep her dream alive.

In November of 2010, Oprah Winfrey decided to use all of her influence and fame to promote John of God a cult leader who "ran child sex slave farm and sold babies to the highest bidder". She promoted him as a Brazilian Faith Healer to her global audience.

Oprah chose to ramp up her marketing of John of God in 2012, after she had terminated her extremely famous talk show and was just getting started with her OWN Network.

Oprah travelled to Brazil to see John of God personally in 2012, and she built an entire program on her new OWN Network on that visit.
