Outspoken advocate and blogger for Huffington Post and rabble.ca
Passionate about public education, social justice, the environment and equal rights for all.
This is some kind of irresponsible, baseless, fear mongering in the middle of a pandemic.
This crap is what makes people hate politics.
In original audio Horgan intimates as min gov they could lose confidence at any time, not warning they could call an elxn at any time. #bcpoli
Yikes. Today the Premier said safe workplaces would "build confidence for consumers"
Andrew Wilkinson responded:
"We hear the Premier talking consistently about public health measures, which actually don't have anything to do with economic recovery." #bcpoli
I've asked Canadians to dream big & demand better in this election.
Because from the housing crisis to the climate crisis, it was bad choices that got us here – but it'll be good choices that put people first, that gets us out. #elxn43
@PeterKellyBC Unbelievable! So disappointing. Bob grew up here in Nanaimo and lives in Ladysmith. This was the same smear campaign Manly and Green voters did during the by-election in Nanaimo-Ladysmith
@PeterKellyBC I've personally seen far too many racist comments about Bob and Jagmeet this election, ashamed of some of the people who live in my community- including this guy.
Sorry I just don’t share this “nasty and depressing” view. It’s been exciting to see Canadians get to know Jagmeet Singh — and big improvements like pharmacare might now be imminent.
Liberals will tell you that you need to vote for them to stop the bogeymen.
Yesterday's numbers from BC tell a different story: only the @NDP can stop the CPC in BC. #elxn43#cdnpoli
CPC: 27% (-2)
NDP: 23% (+9)
LPC: 20% (+1)
GPC: 11% (-3)
Nanos’ tracking finds Trudeau leading but no momentum, a down-tick for Scheer, up-tick for Singh and continuing down-trend for May.
Nanos also found a big gap between CPC support and Scheer-best-for-PM score — he is weighing down the Conservatives.
I really liked this moment for Singh. His focus is people and his honest disgust with Trump — which many share — is very clear. He redefines “strong” as humane. Not floating in the flow of power. Not genuflecting. Strong for people.
So @AndrewScheer says he will stand up to First Nations holding resource development projects "hostage".
I invite this asshat to visit Treaty 9 where people have been held hostage for 100 plus years as some of the richest resource developments moved ahead
Grow up you idjit.
BC Liberals trying to cynically exploit tough news in the forest sector in the midst of a federal campaign by demonizing the BC NDP for negative market trends nobody could avoid but that the BC Liberals knew in advance is worthy of scorn and contempt. #bcpoli
