@TeamYoutube I have a YT channel of near 20 years that was mistakenly deleted or made inaccessible, and this happened when I was in the middle of a session. Can you escalate this quickly?
@AceTrainerRaf Though if the timeline is any indication, it's likely that they were unnamed studio B or some other persistent entity that was following the project
@AceTrainerRaf This is actually an ideal study case, since support studios typically don't get sent in to salvage existing projects unless absolutely necessary, and usually what gets done is amputate or clean off lingering threads
The last significant example that comes to mine is Retro w/ MK7
@AceTrainerRaf If this were the case, why close Studio BB? The only explanation is that these capabilities were meant to be finished "independently" and in-house per mission statement, and that the usual production cycle and leadership was noticeably absent
@AceTrainerRaf in a more "practical scenario" for instance a producer would order outsourcing for lighting support and supplementary systems, and voices would be post-release update
finishing and visual mastering could also be post-release, or warrant a "mastered edition" rerelease later
@AceTrainerRaf shortly following production and release of DQ Builders 2, which was assisted and finished by Omega Force, unlike the original
I can't imagine that the recent announcement feels good for him amidst all the praise, since the same scenario ended up happening again
@AceTrainerRaf ordinarily with new studios like these, organizational governance, a proven pipeline, and hard project specifications are necessary early on to prevent a project from ballooning in scope
the original incarnation of Studio BB was just 7 people(!)
Niinou had previously left SE
@AceTrainerRaf the project seems to have not have been planned with the full voice specifications from the start, as the recording started extremely late
this would be the last major update before the proposed 2025 release would be pushed back to 2026

@AceTrainerRaf The original cycle seems to have also been mildly troubled, as there's a solicitation for UE programmer recruitment in October of the preceeding year

Just moments before, during his comments on the Arco Wada exhibition, he suggests it's also a different product than what was shown
