Oh the irony. Around the year 2000, Mugabe started kicking Whites off their farms in Zimbabwe. Many of the dispossessed white Zimbabwean farmers were forced to flee with their lives. Many landed up in Zambia - The result? Zambia now has so much maize that they don't have the facilities to store it and they are now selling their excess back to.......Zimbabwe.
So here is the irony - the Zim government has to eat what the whites sell him, from a country Zimbabwe once fed. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch. This is a story you want to read and at the end say "I told you so"!
@AllyIrshaad@RomanCabanac I am currently in Brisbane and there are junkies and needles everywhere. Yes it looks pretty from a distance but it's to the point where I won't go into the city on my own because junkies run at me. The Purdue thing is horrifying and caused a lot of damage in the name of profit
Statistically, you’re probably not real.
In an infinite universe, random fluctuations can create a conscious brain with a full set of fake memories.
Which means you’re more likely a drifting mind in the void than someone who actually lived a life.
@Kekius_Sage There is no reason for you to come to that conclusion when you have a planet sample of 1. Universe is a big place. Better question to ask is why have we not encountered other conscious beings. What even is consciousness.
@drtristankapp Log error here. You're a sample set of n = 1. Simply because you haven't experienced, doesn't mean others don't. I'm in a foreign country because several recruiters told me to my face I can't be hired because BEE. You dissing Elon = pointless. How many rockets have you built?
@pureMetatron Correct. It has to do with evolution and mate selection. Men really don't care how women dress, however women care how women dress. We constantly compete against each other and we can be rather mean to each other as well.
@IterIntellectus Insane. Sigh and it gets reinforced in the corporate world as well where I am told to do 5 minute micro learning sessions on my phone with the excuse that it's convenient. I take it as an insult. PhD in molecular biology reduced to 5 minute tik tok phone questions for a metric
I was born in South Africa.
My first ancestors on my fathers' side arrived here in 1678. On my mothers' side the first one arrived in 1708.
I am not European.
My language is not European.
My culture is not European.
No European country is my home and none of them see me as theirs.
Africa is my home.
My loyalty is to Africa and to every freedom-loving African nation.
That loyalty is not automatic obedience to government.
No government owns me.
No government rules me.
Government is a servant of the people, not their master and it should be treated as such.
I support the Springboks and all South African sportsmen and teams. I would love them all to wear the Springbok as the Springbok is a sugn of a winning attitude against all odds.
I don’t care for soccer—but when South Africa plays, I support the South Africa team.
I judge people by character and actions, not skin colour.
I want South Africa to prosper, not implode under ideology and corruption.
I hate crime in all its forms.
I do not believe any country has a default right to exist.
I do not believe any system of government has a default right to exist.
Nations and people earn legitimacy by serving freedom, not demanding submission.
All men are born equal in one thing only:
None of us chose our skin colour, just as we did not choose our eyecolour, length or number of toes.
Just as my ancestors chose to become Africans, so do I.
I reject completely and without apology any man or any government that dares tell me this is not my truth, my reality, or my home.
I am African. Author unknown.
