Shout out to freshman Sophia Altieri and sophomore Dax Ritchie for earning All-Region 2 honors by placing in the Top 15! Sophia finished 13th and Dax 4th!

Your Wakeland cross country teams both placed 3rd this morning at the Region 2 XC Championships held at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie. This qualifies both teams for the UIL STATE XC CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday, November 5th at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock!

Top 3‼️ Congrats to our girls and boys top 3 finishers from the time trial this morning! Everyone worked hard through the heat and got a good base time for the season.

HULA HUT 5k‼️
Some of our runners participated in the Hula Hut 5k + Mile fun run this morning! Shoutout to Hemma Kakel and Aiden Maricle for placing top 3 in their age group! AND Emma Thomas for placing #2 overall for girls and Elena Clark for placing #1 for girls in the mile!!
