A question for the wonderful educators on Twitter. Do you teach primary children to use a comma before a co-ordinating conjunction or not (Fanboys)?#edutwitter#grammar#Englishgrammar
@RetirementTales Thank you for taking us down memory lane and reminding me why I began teaching nearly 33 years ago! Alot may have changed but the joy of seeing 30 smiling children everyday still brings happiness- hope I can last 6 more years!
@RetirementTales My dad my a maths teacher at secondary school. When I was a young child he would always come home for lunch. He would have a sandwich, a 20 minute nap the wake with the sound of BIg Ben on the ITN 1pm news and head back!
@Christi75367510@HannasWorldUK17@Keir_Starmer You do know that Muslims only make up 6.5 of the total English population! Some of those refugees are not Muslim and are in fact Christian’s fleeing Muslim countries where they are prosecuted.
@Headteacherchat We have music, art and PE specialist teachers who rotate giving a full day to a year group, formed of three classes. We work on a two week timetable.
@TizanneM@RetirementTales Maybe it’s because as a child I was given plasticine that had been made during the WW2 and the smell has haunted me ever since! I would rather stick to model magic- even play doh is a no no!!!
