31 year old Yuvraj Singh Manchanda went shopping with his sisters to buy his sherwani.

Later, he told them he had an urgent meeting in Gurugram. He went to meet his former colleague, Anya Vats.

He told his family he would return by 10 PM.

He never came back.

His last WhatsApp message was sent around 4:16 PM. His phone was then switched off.

Yuvraj’s family filed a missing person report.

Police traced his last call to Anya Vats.

Police later arrested Anya Vats and her partner, Sanyam Sachdeva, in Uttarakhand.

According to police, the two confessed to killing Yuvraj and dumping his body in a drain near their house.

Police are investigating a financial dispute as the suspected motive.

Yuvraj was supposed to get married next month.

His family also alleges that police found his body earlier but cremated it without informing them.
