Jr. two months now 😇

If I was ever to have a fear as a father, it would be my son picking up my bad habits, thinking they’re good, while looking at my good habits like they’re weak.

So now I understand that raising him means raising myself too. I can’t just tell him what kind of man to become. I have to show him.

I pray he never confuses anger with strength, pride with confidence, violence with courage, or silence with peace. I want him to understand that discipline is powerful, kindness is not weakness, walking away takes strength, and controlling yourself is more respectable than controlling everybody around you.

He’s only two months old, but he already makes me look at every part of myself differently. My greatest responsibility is making sure the man he looks up to is somebody worth becoming.
