@atreus_auditore I mean...brownie points. Imagine saying you can beat a savage fight on a switch 2? Now controller players got competition on who has the worst set up.
@Andy_Bru_ If I'm passionate what I like, I will equally be passionate with what I dislike. And that is because I like the medium enough to be critical. Its up to people to not care if someone dislikes your love. I adore ff7re so I don't engage with the posts but support the passion.
@Andy_Bru_ It really all depends. Like yeah I want to be known for what I like, but with that I also know what I like cuz what I dislike and how I reflect on my. For example, I hate the movie The Notebook. My family knows this and its a bit of a known gag/fun rant when I go off.
@Andy_Bru_ Older we get the more critical we can get and thats ok. Just means we are growing. I always feel opposite like we should be allowed to dislike what we dislike, its part of the same hand of engagement. More weird when i'm told i'm mot allowed to be passionate about my dislikes
@Tifa_Caelum I'm loud and proud CT, always will be. But following you made me dive into NT, I loved that lore link you sent once going into the creation/love for NT and I adore it now. I mean part of shipping culture is...just liking a lot of ships. Like man I basically love Link with anyone
@EENlX Not really a new thing. Back when StormBlood was new, I got kicked out of my savage raid group of friends cuz I dared read the story lol this was a week before the savage update and I didn't miss anything or miss weekly loot. They just found it weird I was reading the story.
@SpiralsXIV Best take honestly. I find ShB/EW some of the most emotional storytelling in an FF game and if a player skipped it I would shrug and go 'valid' lol
@Actually_Tina But difficulty adjustments are part of ff14 despite my feelings about it, and I always hear the argument that we should help to get as much people to play as possible or accessible cocerns for those with disabilities that can't play high end, so difficulty division are accepted.
@Actually_Tina I think my biggest issue to this, is this is being said for something I feel is insignificant. Which I can agree, all of this is subjective. But, when I argue difficulty is an intended function of the game, and if a game is too hard maybe its not for them, I get thrown.
@Actually_Tina Depends what the game can offer. For sure things like a visual novel is a no-go. But something like an mmo has an abundance of other things by design.
