@clawdiadoll lendo os livros, eu acho que a alma da temporada é uma boa adaptação. Não acho que seja uma adaptação fiel capitulo por capítulo mas considerando que no livro a historia é "quem é o lestat", eles fazem isso bem, e ainda continuam a historia no tempo moderno

@cyrilwoodcock And this will be very important for future stories. But I also get a bit sad because I wanted to have a good adaptation of the book (which Inlove very deeply), so many scenes were lost, but for the direction they chose, I think they went pretty well

@cyrilwoodcock I liked the season, while watching, I just tried to understand the - as happened with the other seasons - the book was just a source material. Their idea wasn't, at least for me, tell Lestats whole story. They wanted to tell you about lestat. How he is, why he is the way he is.+

And again, I think a lot of the “disappointments” come from people having extremely specific expectations before the season even aired. Some of you had a very detailed version of the show in your head, became deeply attached to it, and never really gave the actual show the space to surprise you.

The adaptation changed certain plot elements, but the characters absolutely kept their essence. The whole point of this season was to tell us who Lestat is, why he became the person he is, and what shaped him. By the end, it genuinely feels like you understand him inside and out.

This is a brilliantly crafted adaptation with exceptional writing, storytelling, direction, and performances. You don’t have to agree with every creative choice, but I think some people are refusing to appreciate the show for what it actually is because it doesn’t perfectly match the version they imagined. And honestly, I find that a little unfortunate, because there’s a lot of brilliance in what the show is trying to do.

I really did love this season but do I think it was absolutely perfect and without flaws? no, there were definitely things I wanted to see and some dynamics I wish had been explored or played out differently. but none of that takes away from how much I enjoyed the season overall
