I’ve come to believe there are two very different ways to prepare for the future.
One is wisdom.
The other is fear disguised as wisdom.
Saving for tomorrow is wise.
Refusing to enjoy today because you’re waiting for the “perfect time” is something else entirely.
The challenge is learning the difference.
Build for the future.
But don’t postpone your relationships, your gratitude, your generosity, or the small moments that make a life meaningful.
A well-lived life isn’t one that sacrifices today for tomorrow. It’s one that knows how to honor both.
