Esteban Deniz is a state champion and an All American for Hartnell in the 1,500 meter run. His brother Eduardo Orozco won the same event in 2017.

Sophomore Esteban Deniz (King City) became Hartnell's seventh Northern California 1500m champion on Friday. Deniz will go into Saturday's state championship with the third fastest time statewide.

Congrats to Hartnell distance alum Jesus Avalos (King City) who graduated with B.S. degree in Kinesiology and minor in Athletic Training from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Jesus was the Norcal 10k champion and All-American.

King City's Esteban Deniz leads a sweep of the first three spots for Harntell at the Toro Park Invitational, posting the ninth fastest time in school history over four miles in 20:43. Harntell placed five in the top 14 to win the meet

Our first Coast Conference Champion is Esteban Deniz (King City). Esteban won the 10,000m in 31:41.95. That is the eighth best mark in program history. Isaac Gensel was third and Frankie Maciel in fourth.
