negligence, and tragedy.
Children deserve more than survival. They deserve safety. They deserve protection. They deserve a future.
Happy Children’s Day shouldn’t sound like a prayer. It should be a reality.
#ChildrensDay
The bouncing castles are empty.
The playgrounds are quieter.
And too many parents are holding memories where children should still be.
On a day meant to celebrate innocence, laughter, and the beauty of childhood, Nigeria is once again mourning lives cut short by violence,
Today is International Day of the Boy Child, and we need to treat it with more intention. As men, we owe ourselves the responsibility of creating awareness, driving conversations, and building meaningful initiatives around days like this.
Lol. I remember my first ever attempt at anchoring a wedding reception.
I thought I was READY.
I researched for weeks.
Watched countless reception videos.
Mapped the entire flow in my head.
If you’re in your “first attempt” season be it in business, career, content, love…
It won’t feel like your imagination.
And that’s okay.
Stay. Grow. Adjust.
Here’s what I have learnt ;
The very thing that made you insecure as a child might become the very thing that distinguishes you as an adult.
Your struggle is not your identity.
It might just be your preparation.
What felt like a limitation became my training ground. Stuttering taught me pacing. Preparation. The power of silence. Intentional communication.
Fluency didn’t happen overnight. It came through practice, repetition and growth.
Now, I don’t just speak. I communicate with purpose
For years, speaking felt like a battlefield.
Today, I host events.
I moderate panels.
I speak before executives.
I control rooms with my voice.
The irony isn’t lost on me. Lol
I GREW UP STUTTERING.
Not the cute, nervous kind.
The frustrating kind.
The kind that makes you avoid raising your hand in class. The kind that makes people finish your sentences for you. The kind that makes you question your confidence before you even try.
