Sincere gratitude to the lovely Emma Pedgrift Community Champion at Morrison’s PLC Rochdale for allowing our small Charity an invaluable 2 day fundraiser .
@rachelmewes1982 @DWP My husband is totally blind when we go anywhere and he needs the toilet I have to go in first to check it is clean for him yet he didn’t score any points for toilet needs.
The DWP make you feel so degraded and humiliated. It’s as though it’s their money they are giving you.
@AccessibleHols1@RNIB @TPTgeneral @guidedogs@myblurredworld@WalesBlind Thank you so much for not only your review but your links to other visually impaired groups and your Stirling work. We are hoping to welcome our beneficiaries of visually impaired to our 2 fully adapted and accessible static caravans this year.
God forbid but just for a second try to imagine you had suddenly lost your sight, you needed a break as depression was starting to get the better of you.
As a Blind person myself from my own personal experience visiting mainstream accommodation for a break was not the best.
Having been promised a telephone call from Guide Dogs Cymru by the end of October unfortunately it as never materialised hence a successor for Jack still seems a long way off. Come the 18th December I will have been a year without independence.
Hi Mark my name is Nigel I am a Blind person and a avid listener to football heaven. Absolutely love it when you ring in you speak loads of common sense and really brighten my day. For my sins I am a Barnsley fan we escaped the drop last night. Stay safe
To ensure that our client group are guaranteed a safe and comfortable stay at our 2 accessible holiday homes, we are today grateful to Sainsbury’s Warrington for permitting us a 2 day collection. This will also ensure financial stability for the short term.
It’s amazing after just 3 years of being granted Charitable status the demand is continuing to increase from unfortunate visually impaired for our 2 fully adapted and Accessible static caravans in beautiful North Wales.
Nigel Garry Chairman of North Wales Accessible Holidays for Blind and Visually Impaired would like to express his sincere gratitude to Bev and her Guide dog Leon for sharing their invaluable time to our Charity.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers like Bev.
Yet another collection at Morrisons Boundry Road St Helens. We can not express our gratitude enough to the Community Champion Margaret Strachan, Management and staff.
Please listen to this interview then please share with your friends. We at North Wales Accessible Holidays for Blind and Visually Impaired appreciate any help as we are only a small Charity run entirely by volunteers. https://t.co/YGJPSbPPv0
