Hezbollah should be pushed back from capital city Beirut into southern suburb Dahiye and kept there. The Lebanese Army and thousands of volunteers should take back the streets and liberate the capital.

They have UNSCR1559 to back them up internationally. We worked on that resolution to liberate Lebanon decades ago. Use it.

This is a new ceasefire, a new status quo

Glad Lebanon and Israel signed a framework agreement in WashingtonDC under the @realDonaldTrump administration organized by @SecRubio. The move has some advantages including

1. Detaching the Lebanon dossier from the Islamic regime influence via the US -Regime deal.

2. Lebanon and Israel have a channel of communication via the US.

3. A message to Hezbollah warning from attempts against the Lebanese state.

It also has missing pieces.

A. No mention of Hezbollah, the UNSCR 1559 and the disarming of the militia.

B. Calling for a withdrawal of Israel but failing to call on IRGC withdrawal.

C. No mention of @POTUS request to cancel laws punishing Lebanese citizens for speaking with Israeli citizens.

So it is a "shy deal" but in the right direction.
